Saturday 10:30-3:30pm with a break for lunch. This one-day workshop is specifically for those who wish to learn how to throw with larger weights of clay. You will practice spiral wedging then move to the wheel where your tutor will guide you through practical methods advance your throwing prowess! Prior throwing experience ideal but patient and interested beginners also welcome :) This class focuses mainly on skill building but includes one pot for the studio to bisque fire for collection 3 weeks after the class. **Please note that this course requires a minimum of 3 participants to take place. Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION POLICY We are an independent studio with small class sizes which allows optimum attention from our amazing tutors. Our tutors are dedicated artists and makers who set aside time to focus on you! We want to be able to welcome as many guests as possible to our studio. Our cancellation policy aims to ensure fair notification to our tutors and students in the event where cancellation or rescheduling may occur. [Taster and Private Classes] We require a minimum of 7 days notice should you require to either cancel or reschedule your booking with us. Cancellation fee if notified before 7 days to start of class/course will be 50% of original fee. Cancellation within 7 days before the start of class/course will not be eligible for refund. We require a minimum of 7 day notice prior to the start date of your booking. We are able to reschedule your class one time free of charge. Any further requests to reschedule will be subject to a rescheduling fee 50% of the original booking fee. Please note that scheduling is subject to availability. [Multiweek Courses] We require a minimum of 7 days notice should you require to either cancel or reschedule your booking with us. Cancellation fee if notified before 7 days to start of class/course will be 50% of original fee. Cancellation within 7 days before the start of class/course will not be eligible for refund. We are unfortunately unable to reschedule or make up any missed days, please plan accordingly so that you can attend your scheduled sessions. [Evening Studio Access] In order to allow as many members access as possible cancellations or missed sessions cannot be refunded regardless of cause. Please take care when booking to ensure you are able to attend your session. You are able to reschedule up to 48 hr in advance via the sign-in portal on the website. In the event where COLUMBIA ROAD CLAY needs to cancel a class, you will be offered a full refund or rescheduling of your class/course. --- If you are able to find a replacement for your spot, cancellation or rescheduling fees will not apply.
